Château Chatain 2014 - 12 bottles
Vintage atypical in Chatain, last vintage vinified by Hugues: fresh, pretty ruby, supple on the fruit.
Château Chatain is a dry red wine from the Lalande de Pomerol appellation. It falls into the category of still wine. Its characteristics are an elegant, round and full flavor and a bright ruby robe.
Hugues de La Guéronnière practices a classic vinification and a long aging in oak barrels, 12 months. It benefits from the French label AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) and the European label AOP (Appellation d'Origine Protégée).
The 2014 vintage is available in bottles and magnums. Château Chatain sends you your order by case of six or twelve bottles, or by case of six magnums.
The bottles will be kept lying down. The wine will be served chambered at 17 or 18 ° C maximum and from a certain age, it will be carafe an hour before serving to let it open, two hours if stored in bottle. It can be kept until about 15 years old.
This 2014 is a perfect accompaniment to summer grilled meats, cheeses and chocolate or red fruit desserts.
